Lidia Shvets

Lidia Shvets has a diverse range of work experience in English language teaching and training. Lidia currently works as an English for Software Developers Trainer at English by Yandex.Practicum. Prior to this, they worked as an English Language Teacher at COMMON.

Lidia Shvets also held positions at AGILEfluent, where they served as the Head of Tutors, responsible for recruiting and mentoring new tutors, tracking learning outcomes, and conducting training sessions. Lidia also worked as a Tutor, conducting weekly sprints on job search related topics and providing feedback to students.

Additionally, Lidia Shvets worked as an English Language Tutor at State University - Higher School of Economics, where they prepared design students for the IELTS exam and developed an English course tailored for design students. Lidia also gained experience as an English Language Teacher at the International Education Center, where they taught both groups and individual students using communicative approaches and online tools.

Throughout their career, Lidia Shvets has demonstrated strong instructional and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to develop tailored language courses and syllabi.

Lidia Shvets pursued their education starting in 2018 when they enrolled in the Higher School of Economics. Lidia completed their Master's degree in Foreign Languages and International Communication in 2020. In the same year, Lidia also participated in an exchange program at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, focusing on Language Science. Building on their academic achievements, Lidia further pursued their education at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Italian Language and Literature. Lidia'sexpected graduation year is 2023.
