Borna Safabakhsh

Borna Safabakhsh is the co-founder and CEO of AgileMD, a healthcare technology company that provides a mobile and web-based platform for physicians and patients. Borna is also a founding partner at Amiti Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies.

Borna started their career as an engineer, working in the automotive and aerospace industries. Borna later transitioned into management and consulting, working with startups and small businesses on strategic planning, business development, and financial modeling. In 2010, they founded Ambience ATX Investments, an asset management company.

In 2011, Borna won the Chicago Booth New Venture Challenge and the Chicago Biotech Consortium Competition. Borna was also a grantee of the University of Chicago Innovation Fund.

Borna has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Borna Safabakhsh attended Y Combinator in 2011, The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business from 2009 to 2011, Georgia Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2005, and Milton Academy from 1995 to 1999.
