Imran Abbas

Imran Abbas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as the Chief Executive Officer at Agiletek Solutions LLC, where they began in November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Strategic Advisor at the same company from August 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Agiletek Solutions LLC, Imran was associated with VMware, where they held various positions. Imran served as the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering from June 2020 to August 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Solution Engineering -Federal, where they provided functional leadership for driving customer success through Digital Transformation and Advisory services. Imran also held the position of Director of Enterprise Delivery Architecture, where they were responsible for the strategy and delivery of DevOps services, Ops Transformation, and Architecture services for the Public Sector.

Imran has also held positions at Citrix, where they served as the Practice Director of Citrix Consulting and the Senior Manager of the Citrix Consulting Public Sector. At Citrix, they were responsible for developing and evolving a world-class consulting practice, representing the practice internally and externally, and providing insight to the product management team. Additionally, they oversaw the Americas Consulting Networking Practice, focusing on client engagement success and resource skill-set alignment.

Earlier in their career, Imran worked at Dimension Data as the Integration Lead and the National Solutions Director. Imran was also the Director of Collaboration & Communication Practice at Force 3 and held various roles at CDW, GTSI, The National Academies, UUNET, and CACI.

Imran Abbas has a strong educational background with degrees from prestigious institutions. Imran obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from The Johns Hopkins University in 2003. Imran further pursued their education and completed a Masters degree in Information Management from Harvard University between 2005 and 2007. In 2002, they also obtained a certification in CCIE from Cisco. Imran continued to enhance their knowledge and skills by attending an International Business Seminar focused on Leading in an emerging economy at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in 2012. Imran then pursued an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 2011 to 2013, with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and Leading change.
