Andy Cole

Andy is an Associate Director at Agilia, with over 15 years’ experience in the energy and transport sectors in the UK and Australia. His expertise is in the design and implementation of commercial and regulatory frameworks for large infrastructure investments. 

He has worked across the public and private sectors, leading the development of new infrastructure schemes including the deployment of offshore electricity grid connections (Ofgem), major rail capacity upgrades (Department for Transport, UK), smart electricity meter rollouts, rail franchising and rolling stock procurement (State of Victoria, Australia). He has also delivered major regulatory projects for private utilities including Origin Energy, AGL (Australia) and High Speed 1 Limited (UK), leading to favourable settlements with regulatory bodies and significant improvement in the trading environment for these businesses.
