Gregory Matthias

Gregory (Greg) Matthias has a strong background in cybersecurity and technical leadership. Gregory (Greg) currently holds the position of VP, CISO at Agiliti since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TCF Bank, where they served as EVP, CISO from October 2018 to August 2021 and as Director of Cybersecurity from January 2017 to September 2018. Before joining TCF Bank, Gregory had an extensive career at DISA, where they held various technical leadership roles including Technical Director/CTO - Cyber Security Development Directorate from January 2015 to January 2017, Technical Director, CIO from January 2013 to December 2014, and Chief Engineer, PEO-C2C from September 2008 to January 2013. Gregory (Greg) also worked as an Information Systems Engineer at MITRE from September 2004 to September 2008. Prior to that, Gregory held positions at DISA as Chief Engineer, Global Command and Control System - Joint from June 2001 to August 2004 and Chief Engineer, Network Operations Security from July 2000 to June 2001. Gregory (Greg) began their career as a Software Engineer at the US Army Information Systems Software Center from August 1993 to July 1996.

Gregory (Greg) Matthias holds a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. Gregory (Greg) also completed an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Prior to these achievements, Greg obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Iowa. In terms of additional certifications, Greg has obtained a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University, a NACD CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight from the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors), and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
