Matteo Parigi Polverini is currently the Software Engineering Manager for the Controls team at Agility Robotics. Previously, Matteo worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where Matteo focused on developing optimization-based control and planning algorithms for humanoids. Before that, Matteo was a PhD student at Politecnico di Milano, specializing in force regulation tasks for industrial robots. Matteo also has experience as a teaching assistant and graduate research assistant in the field of automatic control and industrial automation. Matteo holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology - Systems and Control, a Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Engineering.
