Shelby Cass

Shelby Cass has been working in the field of machine learning since 2019, when they began as a Machine Learning Engineer I at Bastian Solutions. In this role, they worked collaboratively on the vision team to create AI/ML-powered computer vision products for new developing technologies. Shelby also explored and integrated several SOTA 6dof pose estimation models and built tools for model performance debugging and data analysis. In 2022, Shelby began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Agility Robotics. Prior to this, Shelby worked as a Barista at Peter B's Espresso in 2018 and a Head Costume Assistant- Austin Arts Center at Trinity College-Hartford in 2016. Additionally, in 2018 Shelby worked as a Lead Instructor for the Zero Robotics Summer Program and as an assistant for the Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) program.

Shelby Cass attended Lakeland High School from 2012 to 2016 and completed a Dual Credit College Academy- North Idaho College. Shelby then attended Trinity College-Hartford from 2016 to 2020, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
