Murtaza Chopdawala

Murtaza Chopdawala, MBA, PMP, CSM has a strong background in project management and delivery. Murtaza is currently working at Agiloft as the Senior Director of Enterprise Project Delivery, where they lead a team of project managers and business analysts to deliver large-scale projects to customers. Murtaza also heads the Project Management Office (PMO) at Agiloft and ensures adherence to project management standards within the organization. Prior to this role, Murtaza held positions such as Enterprise Project Delivery Director and Manager at Agiloft, where they were responsible for overseeing all enterprise projects.

Before joining Agiloft, Murtaza worked at ZE PowerGroup as a Project Delivery Manager, where they developed and implemented a Project Delivery Framework for efficient project delivery in the energy industry. Murtaza also worked as a Project Delivery Lead and a Project Manager/Business Analyst II at ZE PowerGroup.

Murtaza's previous experience includes working as a Project Manager/Consultant at Murtaza Chopdawala Consulting and as an Operations Manager at the Business Families Centre at UBC Sauder School of Business. Murtaza also worked as a Senior Consultant at the Business Families Centre at the Sauder School of Business, UBC, where they played a key role in forming a new association for Business Family Advisors and creating partnerships with national associations.

Early in their career, Murtaza worked as a Consultant at Web Ventures Asia, where they developed a strategy for entering the language translation industry. Murtaza also worked as a Consultant/Software Engineer at Atos Origin, where they improved the quality of solutions developed by a major aircraft manufacturer and received high customer satisfaction ratings.

Murtaza Chopdawala holds an MBA in General Management from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Murtaza also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electronics & Telecommunications from Pune University, acquired from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2017 and 2013, respectively.
