Abhishek Mugalikar

Abhishek Mugalikar has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Abhishek started their career at Capgemini as a Software Engineer in 2012, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining Windows applications using C#. Abhishek also had the role of providing development work estimates and understanding project requirements.

In 2015, Abhishek joined The University of Alabama in Huntsville as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Here, they assisted students with their projects related to OpenStack and Cloudstack. Abhishek also graded programming assignments for the Unix course and performed basic server maintenance tasks like setting up a daily alert system and managing website content using Joomla. Abhishek gained experience in troubleshooting and desktop maintenance for both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Currently, Abhishek is working at Agilysys as a Software Engineer since November 2017. In this role, they are involved in the design and development of REST Web API - rGuestPay, which provides payment services for Agilysys products like POS and PMS. Abhishek utilizes Microsoft stack technologies like .NET, C#, Autofac, Web API, and JSON for the rGuestPay platform.

Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2015 to 2017.
