Thor Hansen

Thor Hansen has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in sales engineering and management roles. Thor started their career in 1998 as a Regional Cosmetic Manager at Macy's before transitioning to the technology sector. From 1999 to 2003, they worked at Visual One Systems as a Systems Analyst, Installation Trainer, and later as a Product Manager for Property Management Systems.

In 2003, Thor joined Agilysys as a Solution Sales Manager, specializing in the hotel and resort sector. Thor spent nearly a decade in this role, demonstrating their expertise in selling technology solutions to hospitality businesses.

After leaving Agilysys, Thor worked at GuestWare in 2012 as a Sales Account Manager, then joined NORTHWIND - Maestro in 2013 as a Senior Solutions Consultant. At NORTHWIND - Maestro, they played a crucial role in promoting their Property Management System and revenue-generating tools to independent hotels, resorts, and multi-property groups.

In 2013, Thor also joined IQWARE Inc. as the Director of Sales in Western Operations, further expanding their leadership experience in sales.

Thor returned to Agilysys in 2015, this time in a managerial position. Thor initially served as the Sales Engineer for Tribal and Corporate Gaming, building strong relationships with customers while showcasing Agilysys's innovative technology solutions. In 2018, they were promoted to Manager of Sales Engineering and, in 2020, to their current role as the Director of Sales Engineering.

Throughout their career, Thor has demonstrated a track record of success in the hospitality industry, leveraging their expertise in sales, technology solutions, and understanding of the unique needs of the sector.

Thor Hansen attended Red Bank Regional High School from 1984 to 1987. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Rutgers University in 1987 and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics.
