Ellen Lopresti

Ellen joined Agios in 2017 and became chief people officer in January 2022. She previously served as Agios’ head of talent & performance development, focusing on the growth and development of both people and the organization. She brings 25 years of people strategy and experience in innovating people processes across multiple industries through both internal and external consulting roles. Prior to Agios, Ellen was at CVS Health where she led the change and assimilation work for multiple integrations, was head of human resources for the Omnicare business, and built the high potential leadership development programs as well as succession planning processes for all of CVS Health. Ellen started her professional career at Ernst&Young/Capgemini, where she partnered with clients in the financial services and insurance industries. Throughout her career, Ellen has partnered with business leaders and team members to find the most impactful solutions for an array of employee lifecycle and change-related issues. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and business from Ithaca College, and a Master’s degree in organizational psychology from the University of Baltimore.
