Andrew Luhrs is a highly experienced professional in health, safety, and environmental management with over 17 years at AGL Energy, where Andrew currently serves as Senior Manager Environment Health & Safety, focusing on diverse portfolios including major projects, gas, and renewables. Andrew has developed a world-class safety management framework, overseen the welfare of over 750 workers, and managed numerous concurrent projects while implementing essential safety strategies and governance. Prior to AGL, Andrew held significant roles at Arrow Energy, including HSE Team Lead for Well Delivery, where responsibilities encompassed on-site safety management and HSE contractor oversight. Starting a career in law enforcement with the Queensland Police Service, Andrew developed expertise in emergency response and security operations. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety from CQUniversity.
