Diane Nelson

Diane Nelson is a highly experienced health, safety, and environment professional with a strong background in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the General Manager of Health, Safety and Environment at AGL Australia since 2021, Diane previously held positions at CitiPower and Powercor as Operations Health, Safety and Environment Manager from 2018 to 2021 and spent over a decade at Shell in multiple senior roles, including National Risk, Compliance, Competence and HSSE Manager. Diane holds multiple degrees, including a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, NEBOSH from Belfast Metropolitan College, and a Post Graduate in Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nursing from Ulster University, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Accident & Emergency Nursing from Queen's University Belfast and an RGN in Adult Nursing from the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.
