Sharon Burt

Sharon Burt has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Sharon currently works at Agnes Scott College as the Director of Development Operations, where they are responsible for overseeing development operations. Prior to this, they held roles as a Development Researcher and Development Assistant at the same institution.

In addition to their work at Agnes Scott College, Sharon has volunteered and worked in various capacities. Sharon was a Volunteer for the Job Networking Ministry at Roswell United Methodist Church and also served as a Volunteer for the City of Decatur.

Furthermore, Sharon has been actively involved in volunteer work at Agnes Scott College, volunteering for the Alumnae Relations Office during Alumnae Weekend '15. Sharon also volunteered for CEFGA's Annual Career Expo '15, providing safety gear to high school students.

Before their time at Agnes Scott College, Sharon worked as a Senior Telemarketing Representative at McKesson Health IT, earning commissions for several months. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate - Territory Development at Wren Solutions. Sharon also has experience in sales and networking, having worked as a Sales/Networking Professional for Professional Networking Activities.

Sharon's earlier work experience includes roles at Promethean, where they were part of the Customer Connections Team, and at McGraw-Hill Learning Group as an Inside Sales Representative. At McGraw-Hill, they sold educational materials and targeted new business while servicing existing and key accounts.

Sharon Burt's education history includes a Master of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Motion Pictures with a minor concentration in Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sharon also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and English from Agnes Scott College. In addition, Sharon participated in a Summer Study Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy, as part of The University of Georgia's program, although they did not earn a specific degree in this program.
