Antoine Laporte

Antoine Laporte is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as an Engineering General Supervisor at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since May 2016. Throughout this tenure, Antoine has held various roles, including Interim Engineering General Supervisor, Open Pit Engineering Coordinator, and Production Engineer, focusing on short-term planning, as well as Drill and Blast Engineer and Surveyor. Prior to this, Antoine gained practical experience through internships with Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, IRME-URSTM at Lac Tio mine, and the Canadian International Institute for Extractive Industry Development, where responsibilities included quality control, environmental project supervision, and research on mining lease processes across multiple Canadian provinces.
