Sonja Galton

Sonja Galton has over two decades of experience in communications and digital strategy, currently serving as Manager of Internal Communications and Digital Channels at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since April 2012. Previous roles at Agnico Eagle include Manager of Corporate Digital Strategy and Nunavut Communications, and Principal of Nunavut Communications. Prior to this, Sonja worked at AECL from December 1997 to October 2011 in various positions, including Specialist in Social Media and Communications, and Communications Planning Officer. Sonja began a career in the hospitality industry with Delta Hotels and Resorts from 1994 to 1997. Sonja holds a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communications from Humber College and a diploma from Sheridan College.
