Satya Chakravarthy

Satya Chakravarthy has held various roles in the aerospace engineering industry since 1998. Satya began their career as an Aerospace Engineering Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In 2009, they founded and headed the National Centre for Combustion Research & Development (NCCRD). In 2017, they co-founded Aerostrovilos Energy Pvt Ltd and AgniKul Cosmos, where they were responsible for building an orbital class launch vehicle that takes 100 kg to orbit with less cost than existing launch vehicles. In 2018, they co-founded ePlane.ai and in 2021, they co-founded GalaxEye. Satya's most recent role was co-founding TuTr Hyperloop in 2022.

Satya Chakravarthy received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and their BTech - Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
