Srinath Ravichandran has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2006 with a Management Trainee role at ABB. In 2009, they began working at Vergara Investments LLC as a Graduate Intern - Asset Allocation. Srinath then moved to AXA US, where they held two roles: Senior Director, Portfolio Management/ Investments ALM and Assistant Vice President (Trading/ Rebalancing). In 2016, they took on two more roles, one at AIG as Asst. Director, Market Risk Management, and the other at Space Cooperative as Co-Founder & Engineering Aficionado. Srinath is currently Co-Founder & CEO of AgniKul Cosmos, where they are building an orbital class launch vehicle that takes 100 kg to orbit.
Srinath Ravichandran has a diverse educational background. Srinath obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai in 2006. Srinath went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia Engineering in 2008, which they completed in 2009. In 2012, they attended the NJ Film School for an Evening Program in Film/Cinema/Video Studies, which they completed in 2015. In 2014, they obtained a Diploma in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy through an Evening Program. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate Program in Astronautical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Srinath is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration for a Private Pilot License - Single Engine Land in 2016, a Coursera Course Certificate for The Finite Element Method for Problems in Physics in 2015, and an edX Verified Certificate for Hypersonics - from shock waves to scramjets.
