J. Patrick Patt Rice

As Vice President of Sales for AGNITY, J. Patrick “Patt” Rice has global responsibility for channel and direct sales of the company’s Communications and Multimedia Solution. Patt is a thirty-year veteran of the telecommunications industry. He brings extensive sales experience and a proven track record of go-to-market strategies and worldwide revenue growth.

Prior to joining AGNITY, Patt was an independent executive sales consultant for the telecom equipment industry. He has served as Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Performance Technologies where he was also a corporate officer. Throughout his career, Patt has been a key member of management teams. He held key senior positions at Tekelec (now Oracle) culminating with Vice President-Global Sales for their switching division. Prior to joining Tekelec, Patt held various engineering and management positions with Nortel Networks and GTE. Throughout his career, he has been an industry thought leader and has served on various industry committees in both participative and leadership roles.

Patt attended North Carolina Wesleyan University where he majored in Computer Science and Business. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
