Samuel Hsiao

Samuel Hsiao is an experienced professional specializing in government affairs and strategic partnerships, currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Government Affairs at Agoda since May 2021. In this role, Samuel leads initiatives on regulatory issues, policy development, and industry engagements across various regions. Previously, Samuel helped establish partnerships with tourism authorities in Southeast Asia while working as Global Government Affairs Manager at Agoda and managed stakeholder relationships at Hitachi as Government Partnerships Manager. Samuel's career also includes significant roles in business development and product management at Janio Asia and Momentum Works, respectively, alongside internships at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. Samuel holds a Master of Science in Management from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy from National Chengchi University.
