Ben Weekes

Ben Weekes has a strong background in technology, with over 25 years of experience in various roles. Ben is currently working at Agora as a Senior Architect and Principal Software Engineer. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Trulience, where they worked on building lifelike digital humans for web browsers and apps. Before Trulience, Ben was the VP of Technology at Smart Pension, where they led research and development into emerging technologies for the future Smart platform. Ben also spent several years at Blackboard as the Chief Architect, integrating video communication technology into the Collaborate product. Earlier in their career, Ben served as the Chief Technical Officer at Requestec, where they were recognized as a pioneer of WebRTC technology. Ben began their career as a Software Engineer at Symbian and later worked as a Quantitative Analytics Developer at Morgan Stanley and a Software Engineer at NatWest Markets.

Ben Weekes attended the University of Bristol from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics.
