George Metsis

George Metsis currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Agora Labs, focusing on secure and private health-data sharing. Concurrently, George holds dual roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Optechain since August 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Software Architect for the Greek Army, where solutions were developed based on NATO best practices and awarded honors. George's academic background includes a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, along with multiple diplomas in Computer Science and Networking from various military and educational institutions. Additionally, George has experience in research and teaching at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in autonomous agents and database design.
