Jean-Vincent Drean has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering. From 2004-2006, they worked at IDEALX as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the IDEALX Management Console (IMC) nagios module and packaged IMC for various platforms. During the same time period, they also worked at Linbox as a Software Developer, where they organized the "Free/Libre Software Meeting" 2004, developed the interface of a firefox-based browser, and made the company's CMS compliant with W3C' standards. From 2006-2013, they worked at XWiki as a Lead Developer and Software Developer, where they were the Lead Developer on the company's SaaS offering, XWiki Cloud, and a Developer on the XWiki Open Source project. Jean-Vincent was also the Release Manager on 40 releases and Lead Developer on several service projects. Lastly, from 2013-present, they have been working at Agorapulse as Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, and Tech Lead. In this role, they have supervised the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams, collaborated with the CTO and Head of Product, sourced and recruited talent, and coached the engineering teams to grow from 4 to 40+ engineers. Jean-Vincent has also been the Product Owner of the Inbox and Publishing features, a Full-stack Developer on the Agorapulse product, and Lead Developer on several in-house libraries.
Jean-Vincent Drean attended EPITECH - European Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained an IT engineering school degree in the field of Information technology.
