Marcus Sobering has a diverse work experience in finance and tax roles. Marcus currently holds the position of VP of Finance at AGPM starting in December 2022. Previously, they worked at iQor as VP, Global Tax from November 2019 to December 2022, and as Tax Director from February 2015 to November 2019. Before iQor, Marcus held the position of Tax Director at Intersil Corporation from November 2014 to February 2015, and Senior Tax Manager from May 2010 to November 2014. Marcus started their career as a Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from July 2005 to March 2007. Marcus also gained valuable experience in tax planning, compliance, and international tax operations during their tenure as a Senior Tax Accountant at Starwood Hotels & Resorts from March 2007 to April 2010.
Marcus Sobering received a Bachelor of Accounting/Master of Accounting degree from the University of Florida, with a focus in Accounting. Marcus attended the university from 2001 to 2005.
