Atle Scholze has extensive experience in the geological field, currently serving as a Senior Operations and Wellsite Geologist at AGR since May 1997. Prior roles include Wellsite Geologist Consultant at Sperry-Sun Drilling Services from September 1992 to May 1997, focusing on offshore exploration wells for Statoil, Conoco, and BP. At Saga Petroleum, Atle worked as an Operations/Wellsite Geologist from May 1990 to September 1992. Earlier positions also include a Scientific Research Assistant at the University of Oslo, where work involved global mapping of palynomorphs, and a Project Palynologist at The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate studying Late Cretaceous environments. Atle began a scientific research career in the Ocean Drilling Programme at the University of Oslo. Atle holds a Cand. scient. degree in Marine Geology from the University of Oslo, completed in 1986.
