Electrochemistry Team Lead at Agratas

Meltiani Belekoukia currently serves as the Electrochemistry Team Lead at Agratas, starting in January 2024, where responsibilities include leading the assessment of electrochemical performance for next-generation lithium-ion cell technology. Prior to this role, Meltiani held positions at Jaguar Land Rover as Cell Development Manager and Lead Engineer for Battery Cell R&D from April 2022 to January 2024, and at WMG, University of Warwick as Assistant Professor focusing on electrochemical materials and research fellow in battery cell characterization and electrochemical testing from November 2019 to April 2022. Additional experience includes a research fellowship at The Faraday Institution examining degradation and electrochemistry from November 2019 to November 2021, alongside a PhD research role at Heriot-Watt University in chemical engineering from January 2016 to December 2019. Meltiani holds a PhD from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Physics, Energy and Environment from the University of Patras.
