Matthew Obrock

Matthew Obrock has extensive experience in grain merchandising and commodities trading. Currently serving as a Grain Merchandiser at Agrex, Inc. since February 2015, Matthew focuses on grain merchandising in the Northwest Ohio area and oversees a Non-GMO program for the Columbus Grove, OH facility, as well as origination for an ethanol plant in Western New York. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Commodities Merchandiser at Luckey Farmers Inc. from March 2009 to February 2015, assisting producers with marketing strategies including cash contracts, HTA, basis, futures, and options trading. With a background that includes serving as an Assistant Facility Manager and Crew Leader/General Labor at Luckey Farmers Inc. from 2003 to 2009 and a brief stint as a Grain Inspector at Nabisco Biscuit Company in 1999, Matthew has a well-rounded skill set in the agricultural sector. Matthew pursued education at Owens Community College from 2001 to 2003 and attended The Ohio State University from 1998 to 2000.
