Gerhard Nel

Gerhard Nel is an experienced professional in the fields of product development, process engineering, and project management, with a career spanning over a decade in the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as Head of Product Development and Special Projects at Agri Technovation South Africa since February 2019, Gerhard also held the position of Head of Process Engineering. Prior roles include Project Manager and Process Engineer at Green Energy Technovation and DNS Consultants from February 2014 to January 2019. Gerhard's expertise began at AngloGold Ashanti as a Management Trainee, contributing to the commissioning of an integrated uranium and gold plant and participating in a comprehensive management training program focused on metallurgy. Gerhard holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from North West University, completed in January 2009.
