Teunis Vahrmeijer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Teunis began their career as a Research Scientist at PU in 1993 and then transitioned to become a Director at Baronne Nurseries in 1996. In 2007, Teunis became the Director of Crowning Crop Consultancies. Teunis then worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2009 to 2017. From 2012 to 2018, Teunis served as an Advisor for new product development at Victus (Pty Ltd). In 2017, they became a Business Manager at Villa Crop Protection, where they worked until 2019. In 2020, Teunis took on the role of Head of Grains and R&D at Agri Technovation South Africa. Teunis currently holds the position of Business Development Manager for West Australia at Agri Technovation Australia.
Teunis Vahrmeijer has an extensive education history. Teunis completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Agronomy at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree from North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit in an unspecified field of study in 1992. In 1990, Teunis completed a BSc Honours degree in Soil Sciences from the same university. Their educational journey began with a BSc in Soil Science and Chemistry, also from North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit, which they finished in 1986.
