Agri Trading

Agri-Trading, established in 1977, has become an industry leader in the trading and shipping of animal and grain by-products. Our core business is based on marketing multiple grades of animal fats and recycled vegetable oils. Agri-Trading's marketing approach aligns closely with the concept of marketing corn oil, a by-product from the manufacturer of ethanol. We consistently market between 15,000 and 20,000 tons of various grades of fats and oils monthly. In addition to the buying and selling of the products, we are responsible for all logistics. We utilize our own fleet of tank cars and a network of truck services. Agri-Trading's customer base for fats and oils include domestic manufacturers of feed, oleo chemicals, soap and significant exports as well. The product mix ranges from 50 plus free fatty acid brown grease to edible lard and tallow. This product mix allows us to identify market changes in one area and arbitrage into the other areas; thereby, adjusting our market activity quickly. Along with the fats and oils, we also market a wide variety of feed based commodities which include meat and bone meal, dried blood meal, wet and dried distillers grains, wheat midds, corn gluten, cottonseed, soybean meal, soy hull pellets, hominy, corn screenings, oat hulls and other miscellaneous agricultural by-products.
