Stefan Bucataru

Stefan Bucataru is a seasoned business professional currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Council at Harvard Business Review since August 2024. As Managing Director at Veldtster Management & Consulting since July 2007, Stefan leads various acquisition, turnaround, divestiture, and financing projects across multiple regions. Additionally, Stefan holds a board member position at AGRICOVER, overseeing risk and remuneration committees, and previously contributed as an Integration Strategy and Financial Advisor at CHIMCOMPLEX. Stefan has also served on the supervisory board and as Chairman of the Executive Board at CNTEE Transelectrica SA, as well as held the roles of Board Member and CEO at TeraPlast SA, where significant operational turnaround achievements were made. Earlier career experiences include serving as Investment Director at Global Finance and Managing Director at Lasselsberger Group GmbH. Academic credentials include an MBA from Durham University Business School and completion of the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
