Gérald Dayer

Gérald Dayer is the Head of the Agriculture Service for the Canton of Valais, overseeing the implementation of agricultural policies and strategies aimed at enhancing the region’s agricultural sector. From 2013 to 2014, Gérald participated in various steering committees focused on training management and water strategy in Valais. Currently, Gérald holds several leadership roles, including President of the Strategic Council for Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 in Valais and Vice-President of AGRIDEA, an association dedicated to agricultural development. Gérald obtained a Master's degree in Total Quality Management and is a graduate in Agricultural Engineering from ETH Zurich. Interests include wine, culture, gastronomy, travel, ski touring, and running.
