Javier Laurenz

Javier Laurenz has extensive experience in the financial industry. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Agrotoken. Prior to this, they were Deputy Director at the Financial Intelligence Unit of Argentina from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Unipar Indupa. From 2001 to 2016, they held several roles at Bank of America, including Managing Director, LatAm Head of Operational Risk, Senior Vice President – EMEA Corporate Debt Products, Senior Vice President – Country Risk and Administrative Officer, Vice President – Senior Credit Review Manager, and International Risk – LatAm International Desk. From 1997 to 2001, they were a Relationship Manager – Specialized Industries at BankBoston.

Javier Laurenz attended Harvard University Extension School from 2004 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' in 1995, after studying there from 1990 to 1995.
