Lívia Villela has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles over the years. Lívia recently joined Agrotools as a Product Owner/Manager in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Gaivota as a Sustainability Analyst from December 2019 to September 2021, where they focused on agribusiness, socioenvironmental compliance, and geoprocessing.
In 2018, Lívia worked at Fundação de Desenvolvimento Científico e Cultural (FUNDECC) as a Geoprocessing Analyst. There, they contributed to the Brazilian forest monitoring project, gaining skills in mapping software such as ArcGis and eCognition, as well as utilizing the AGIL/SCRUM methodology for project development.
Before that, they were a CNPq Student Researcher from May 2014 to July 2017. During their time there, they worked on various projects, including technical-legal analysis of the new environmental regularization system (Cadastro Ambiental Rural or CAR), analysis of CAR in rural properties in Lavras-MG, and spatial-temporal analysis of green areas at the Federal University of Lavras-MG.
Lívia also has experience at the Federal University of Lavras, where they worked as a Communications Advisor from June 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, they served as an Editor for the Ecologia de Estradas | Editora, responsible for editing and producing nine editions of the technical-scientific journal Linearidades. The journal focused on the impact of road networks on wildlife roadkill in Brazil and was associated with the Centro Brasileiro de Estudos em Ecologia de Estradas.
Lívia Villela has a diverse education history. Lívia obtained a Bacharelado degree in Engenharia Florestal from the Universidade Federal de Lavras, although the specific start and end years for this degree are not provided. Lívia then attended the Escola Politécnica da USP from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on Tecnologia da Informação.
