Tom Higgins has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tom began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Edward Blank Associates from September 1983 to December 1985. Tom then worked as a System Manager at PCLC of America, Inc from August 1986 to March 1988.

From 1988 to 1994, Tom held the position of Information Manager and Payroll Manager at Allerton House Company, where they designed and implemented a local area network connecting employees across multiple locations. Tom also set up and maintained a networked real estate management system and installed and maintained the company's payroll system.

In 1994, Tom became a System Administrator and Office Administrator at Phantom Access Technologies, where they managed a large Internet Service Provider and administered servers.

From January 1995 to November 1995, Tom worked as a System Developer and LAN Administrator at Zurich American Specialties, where they oversaw the administration of a 200-user Novell Netware LAN and implemented the migration of marketing publications and insurance inquiries to an internet-based system.

In November 1995, they joined Dorling Kindersley as a Technology Manager and Tech Support Manager, where they administered a LAN and managed a tech support staff.

From June 1997 to November 2004, Tom worked as a System Analyst for the Bureau of Land Management contract with Northrop Grumman and Titan/L3 Communications. Tom'sresponsibilities included the creation and administration of database-driven web-based applications for the Department of the Interior.

In February 2018, Tom became a Customer Support Supervisor at Shopko, where they supervised the customer support team. Later in November 2018, they joined Agtegra Cooperative as an IT Support Specialist.

Throughout their career, Tom also had a self-employed project-based technology effort called WSMF, where they worked on open source and creative commons focused projects.

Overall, Tom Higgins has a wide range of experience in IT support, system administration, network management, and project-based technology efforts.

Tom Higgins attended Wallington High School from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a High School degree in Information Technology. Following this, they pursued Computer Science at Hunter (CUNY) from 1984 to 1985.
