Amir Shehata

Amir Shehata, MBA, CSCP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amir began their career at Energizer, where they worked as a Maintenance Engineer and later became a Business Unit Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for production, maintenance, and quality, and reported directly to the plant manager.

Amir then joined Mondelēz International, formerly known as Kraft Foods - Ex Cadbury PLC, as a Manufacturing Manager. Here, they managed the timely delivery of production plans, ensured compliance with quality standards, and generated productivity and safety reports.

After that, Amir joined AATCO as a Plant Manager, where they led the full plant operation in Oman. Amir was responsible for the production of various food categories and successfully facilitated the transfer of operations to the Jeddah plant. Additionally, they managed the recruitment process for the new plant in Jeddah.

Currently, Amir is working at Agthia Group PJSC. Amir initially served as a Plant Manager, overseeing the operations and supply chain for B2B and B2C divisions in Egypt. Amir successfully managed a critical project involving the transfer of Tomato Paste lines from UAE to Egypt and implemented significant changes in site GMP standards and infrastructure. Subsequently, they held the positions of Acting Country Manager and Head of Egypt Operations before assuming their current role as Director of Operations.

Amir Shehata's work experience showcases their expertise in operations management, supply chain, project management, and leadership. Amir'sstrong track record of achieving operational excellence and driving positive change makes him a valuable asset in any organization.

Amir Shehata has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Alexandria University - Faculty of Engineering, which they obtained from 1993 to 1998. Amir later pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, completing it from 2009 to 2011. In 2019, Amir obtained a certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, specializing in supply chain management.
