Ramy Merdan

Ramy Merdan is an experienced executive with a diverse background in operations and supply chain management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Agthia Group PJSC since November 2017, Ramy also holds the title of Senior Vice President - Value Chain. Prior to this role, management positions included Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Gandour from April 2009 to November 2017, as well as Operations Director for both Dairy and Biscuits at Danone Egypt from April 2002 to March 2009. Ramy's career began at Unilever Mashreq in supply chain management from June 1992 to March 2002. Educational credentials include Executive Education at Harvard Business School in 2018-2019 and a degree from Alexandria University earned between 1989 and 1993.
