James A. King

James A. King has worked in the agriculture industry since 2002. James A. began their career as a Viticulturist at Vineyard Management, where they attended the International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition in Bologna, Italy and visited manufacturing facilities for state of the art specialty equipment for the wine grape industry. In 2009, they became the Owner of Ambrose Vit Tech, where they incorporated automation and equipment operations to provide sustainable solutions in farm management. Theirprojects included an orchard/vineyard strip sprayer, which they designed and fabricated with dual axis controls to reduce drift and herbicide usage. In 2021, they joined Agtonomy as a Farm Operations employee, where they work with established equipment manufacturers to transform tractors and agriculture machines into autonomous and remote-controlled equipment.

James A. King holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Plant Sciences from California State University, Fresno. James A. is also a Member of the California Farm Bureau Federation and holds a Pesticide Operator, Commercial certification from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation.
