Sergio Herra

Sergio Herra is a criminal lawyer specializing in anticorruption and investigations, currently working at Aguilar Castillo Love since July 2020. In addition to legal practice, Sergio Herra holds teaching positions at Universidad de Las Américas and ULACIT, focusing on economic criminal law and socio-economic crimes. Sergio Herra serves as a member of the editorial council for the Revista El Foro of the Colegio de Abogados y Abogadas de Costa Rica and is involved with the World Compliance Association as both President and Vice President of the Costa Rica chapter. With extensive academic credentials, including a research doctorate in Criminal Law and Compliance from Universitat de Barcelona and various qualifications from esteemed institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Sergio Herra is recognized for contributions to criminal law and compliance education.
