Jay's earlier experience includes positions as a Winfield Ag Sales Representative at Land O'Lakes, Inc., where Jay supported crop production input management, and as a Farm Manager at Palmetto Vegetable Company, overseeing tomato production. Additionally, Jay was a Ranch Manager at McClure Farms, managing hay and cattle operations, and started as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Deseret Farms of Ruskin, focusing on various aspects of tomato farming. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree from State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota.
