Ilene Harless

Project Engineer at AH Environmental Consultants

Ilene Harless has extensive work experience in the field of environmental consulting and engineering. Ilene began their career at CDM in 1997 as an Engineer, where they focused on wastewater pump station design, drinking water pipe system design, and utility databases. After working at CDM for five years, they moved on to AH Environmental Consultants in 2003 as a Project Engineer. In this role, they gained expertise in NPDES storm water regulations for multiple states and worked on various projects related to storm water pollution prevention plans, storm water management plans, and sewer system evaluation studies. In addition to their consulting work, Ilene also has experience as a Missionary in Puerto Rico from 1982 to 1984.

Ilene Harless holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, completing their studies from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Ilene has obtained several certifications. In 2005, they completed the Permit-Required Confined Space Entry Refresher with Practical Exercise at IMS Environmental Services. In 2012, they obtained the NASSCO certification from the National Association of Sewer Service Companies. Ilene has also completed the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 40-Hour training at IMS Environmental Services and the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training at 360training, although the specific timing of these certifications is not provided.
