Robert D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Robert started their career at Boston Market in 2004 as a Utility Position and stayed there until 2006. In 2007, they worked at Green Tree Boro Public Works as a Summer Help employee. The following year, they joined R.E. Crawford Construction as a Co-op Intern, where they worked until 2009. At Tetra Tech, Inc., they served as a Co-op Intern from September 2009 to December 2010 and later as a Civil Engineer from January 2011 to January 2017. Currently, Robert is a Project Engineer at AH Environmental Consultants, a position they have held since February 2017. Robert has held various Project Engineer roles at the same company, including a period from December 2018 to May 2021 and their current ongoing role.

Robert D. attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In December 2016, they became a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In April 2017, they also obtained a Professional Engineer certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Throughout their career, Robert D. acquired various certifications in different areas. In 2017, they completed the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach program offered by 360training.com. In March 2018, they obtained the Regional Construction Standards certification from the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission. Additionally, they completed the OPSEC Awareness for Military Members, DoD Employees, and Contractors course provided by the Defense Security Service in January 2019.

Robert D. has also obtained certifications related to their field of study. In July 2019, they became a Certified Backflow Prevention Technician in Virginia, completing the training at Kruger's Training Academy. Robert also received certifications in the Lateral Assessment, Manhole Assessment, and Pipeline Assessment programs from the National Association of Sewer Service Companies in March 2019.

More recently, in 2023, Robert D. completed several certifications in different areas. In February, they obtained the Level I Antiterrorism Awareness Training offered by The Joint Staff. In March, they completed both the Fall Protection Training for the Competent Person provided by OSHA Pros, LLC, and the OSHA #3115 Fall Protection course offered by the Mid-America OSHA Education Center. Finally, in February 2022, they achieved certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
