Vivek Bharathan has a long and varied work experience. Vivek began their career as an Intern at Indchem Software Technologies in 2000. Vivek then became a Teaching Associate at Ohio State University in 2002. In 2006, they worked as an Intern at Motorola USA. From 2010 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Vertica Systems. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Uber. Most recently, in 2020, they became Co-Founder and Principal Engineer at Ahana. Vivek also worked as a Research Associate at the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Research from 2003 to 2006, where they worked under grants from Army Research Labs and Air Force Research Labs to develop emerging technologies in decision-support systems and reasoning systems. During this time, they published a paper on Belief Revision controlled by Meta-Abduction.
Vivek Bharathan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University in 2001. Vivek then went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2010.
