Kim Kirkman serves as the Communications Manager at the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia since July 2021. In addition to this role, Kim contributes as a writer for Seesaw Magazine and Westerly Magazine. Previous experience includes working as a Communications Consultant for Creating Communities Australia and holding positions as a Writer and Communications Manager at FORM - Building A State of Creativity. Kim's journalism career began at West Australian Newspapers, where work occurred from September 2010 to 2014. Kim holds a Graduate Certificate in International and Community Development from Deakin University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism from Murdoch University. Kim is also pursuing Accredited Oral History Training through the Community Media Training Organisation.
