Amber Asher

Amber Asher is a seasoned legal and business executive with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and General Counsel at Standard International, LLC since September 2011, Amber oversees Standard Hotels, Bunkhouse Hotel Group, and the One:Night app. In addition to current roles, Amber contributes as a board member for both the AHLA Foundation and Bunkhouse, and has previously held advisory positions with The Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association and board membership with One Night. Prior experience includes roles as General Counsel and Executive Vice President at André Balazs Properties, as well as Associate General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Morgans Hotel Group. Early in the career, Amber practiced law at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP and Latham and Watkins LLP in real estate and business law. Educational accomplishments include a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a JD, cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law.
