Neal Cope

Neal Cope currently serves as Senior Vice President & General Counsel for US Legal Affairs at Ahold Delhaize USA, a position held since July 2013, with prior roles including Vice President for Employment, Labor & Benefits and Vice President for Litigation, Regulatory & Compliance, both associated with Food Lion. His legal career began at Henry, McCord, Bean, Miller, Gabriel & LaBar, followed by a position as Assistant General Counsel at the Tennessee Department of Transportation, and later as an Associate at Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, focusing on various legal specializations including commercial litigation and employment law. Neal Cope holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
