Gurpunyeet Singh

Gurpunyeet Singh has a wide range of work experience in sourcing and procurement roles within the technology industry. Gurpunyeet began their career at Infosys in 2008 as an IT Consultant, where they were responsible for consultancy and project delivery for a large US-based client. Gurpunyeet then joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2010 as an IT Consultant, leading and coordinating multiple teams for technology change programs and developing IT strategies based on business requirements. In 2013, Singh joined Accenture Consulting as part of the IT Strategy & Transformation team, where they developed industry-specific digital capability assessment frameworks and strategies for clients to achieve continuous IT cost reduction. Gurpunyeet also pursued an International Full-Time MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University during this time. In 2014, they joined JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS as a Global Procurement Manager, responsible for end-to-end sourcing and procurement strategies, leading large tenders, negotiations, and driving category strategies. Singh's most recent role was with Ahold Delhaize, starting in 2018 as a Sr. Manager in Global Procurement (IT), then as the Head of Global IT Sourcing, and currently as the Sr. Director - Sourcing/Procurement (Technology). Overall, Singh has demonstrated expertise in sourcing and procurement within the technology sector, as well as experience in IT strategy and digital transformation.

Gurpunyeet Singh completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategy from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2014. Before that, from 2004 to 2008, they completed their B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engg College. Gurpunyeet'searlier education was at BCM Arya Model Sr. Sec. School from 1989 to 2004, however, the degree name and field of study for that period are not provided.
