Mathijs Pongers

Mathijs Pongers has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the IT industry. Mathijs started their career at 3M as a Sales representative for large end customers, where they achieved success in acquiring new contracts. Mathijs then worked as a Medior Consultant at GVB, focusing on organizational change and improving efficiency. Mathijs then joined Ormit as a Trainee, gaining valuable experience in various roles. Mathijs later worked at NXP Semiconductors as a Project Manager, overseeing the carve-out of IT from Philips. Mathijs joined Ericsson as a Teamleader, managing the transfer of stock for their service contract with Vodafone. Mathijs then moved to T-Systems and held positions such as IT Project Manager and Director of IT Application Operations, where they improved customer satisfaction and financial stability. Mathijs also worked at Itility as a Managing Consultant, specializing in fixed-price IT projects. Mathijs later joined Tele2 Nederland as a Director of Client Services and Operations Officer B2B, responsible for managing customer contracts and improving business processes. Most recently, Mathijs worked at Ahold Delhaize as the Vice President of OCIO and IT Platforms, overseeing the implementation of global IT services and driving continuous service improvement.

Mathijs Pongers attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999-2005, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, they earned an MSC degree in Business Administration from the same university between 2000-2005.
