Gerald Chifanzwa

Gerald Chifanzwa has been in the software development industry since 2012. Gerald began their career as a Software Development Intern at Afrosoft Corporation. In 2014, they moved to Afrosoft Holdings Limited as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for developing new systems to meet client requirements, maintaining existing systems, managing database growth, and implementing system upgrades. In 2017, they took on the role of Systems Development Consultant (outsourced through Afrosoft Holdings Ltd) at Cassava Smartech. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior Software Developer at Afrosoft Holdings Limited. In 2021, they moved to ZSS Shared Services as a Senior Web Developer. Gerald is currently employed as a Back End Developer at AHOY.

Gerald Chifanzwa completed a Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Microelectronics and Programming from the National University of Science and Technology (ZW) in Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed A level studies in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Mazowe High School from 2007 to 2008. Most recently, in 2021, they completed a Back-end Developer: .Net course from OpenClassrooms.
