Wafa Waheeda Syed

Wafa Waheeda Syed has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Wafa Waheeda began as a Freelance Developer for ALMANA NETWORK SOLUTIONS & SECURITY SERVICES, where they worked with a vision to help improve the web and online presence of the organizations in Qatar. In 2015, they took an Intern - Social Computing role at Qatar Computing Research Institute, where they built an application using Python to collect Latest Twitter Trends and visualized it using D3. js and Fusion Table. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Qatar University. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at AHOY.

Wafa Waheeda Syed has a comprehensive educational background. Wafa Waheeda obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Qatar University between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jeppiaar Engineering College, Anna University - Chennai between 2010 and 2014. Wafa Waheeda also holds an HSC in Mathematics and Computer Science from Crescent Matriculation Higher Secondary School, obtained between 2002 and 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a React Nanodegree from Udacity in October 2019, a GCP Essentials from Qwiklabs in May 2019, a Learning React.js from Lynda.com in January 2019, a Membership Certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF) in November 2018, a Lean Startup Program from the Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) in May 2017, and an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX in June 2015.
